MacOSx and Microsoft

In a previous post, I have praised MacOSX. Did I jump the gun? Like any other OS, it has its quirks, cons and pros. The main thing that OSX delivers: fun factor. Windows XP is already old. In this world, I expect my desktop to excite me. More than old, we have all grown accustomed to WinXP. Microsoft’s primary failure is delivering software fast enough for today's market. The reasons? Numerous - the most obvious one is that somehow Microsoft is "stuck" in a 1980s model of delivering software on a CD.
If Microsoft would have delivered a new desktop this month, I won't be looking for something else to excite me.
