Google web accelerator – accelerating my anger levels.

Monday, October 31, 2005

There’s an old story down here in these parts, about this guy complaining to his Rabbi that his house is too small. The rabbi had the guy let all of his livestock into the house (I’m making a very long story very short here), and then asked him to remove them back to the barn. The poor guy now felt his house is as big as a king’s house.

I had the same experience with the new Google Web Accelerator (GWA). Installing it on my desktop had me subscribe to my neighborhood anger management program, as my surfing speed experience was like the good old 14K Zoom modem. That did not stop GWA reporting it had saved 17 minutes of my precious time.

Having it uninstalled, I now feel that my internet connection is fast enough to fit Kings!
In a way, it did accelerate my web!
