Flock

Sunday, October 23, 2005

Flock is a mozilla based browser for the web 2.0 generation. With a lot of hype got going around these guys at the valley, they have produced a browser which, at its first developer's preview edition, has integrated blogging capabilities, flickr view of your account, delicious sync of your favorites and a web-service aware "clipboard" they call "shelf" onto which you can drag and drop web objects between services. i.e. I can drag a flickr picture, right from my flick account into this blogging window. Flock does the rest on Linux, MaxOSx and Windows ofcourse.

My god it *is* 1999 all over again. The network IS the computer. It will be interesting to see how the flock guys develop theyre business.
